One-Year Position in Psychology (Behavioral Neuroscience) at the Reed College Psychology Department

The Reed College Psychology Department seeks applicants for a one-year position in Behavioral Neuroscience to begin August 2023. The selected individual will teach four courses (two each semester), including a core course in behavioral neuroscience with lab, a team-taught introductory psychology course with lab, and two seminars in their area of expertise. The individual will also supervise year-long psychology and neuroscience senior thesis projects and work closely with staff overseeing an animal colony with rats and pigeons. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in behavioral neuroscience or a related field, but strong ABD applicants will be considered. We especially welcome applications from candidates with experience teaching undergraduates.
