Apply here to be a member and play an active role in empowering scientists of color to become innovators in cognitive science.

Are you interested in contributing to the professional development of scholars of color? SPARK Society wants to connect you with over 200 cognitive scientists around the globe whose expertise and experiences make great contributions to the field.

Membership options are listed below:

  • General Member ($25/year)

    Members must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in the field of Psychology or related field.

    Benefits include:

    • Free registration for SPARK Society Annual Meeting

    • Eligibility to serve on SPARK Society General Board and respective subcommittees

    • Eligibility to participate in the annual election process by nominating and voting for candidates

    • Inclusion into the online Member Directory

    Note: You will have to manually renew your membership every year after it expires.

Alternatively, we now provide a Spark subscription which will automatically renew your annual membership.

  • Student Member ($10/year)

    Student members in the field of Psychology or related field.

    Student membership expires after one year. Afterwards, members will need to log on after their membership expires to renew their plan.

    Benefits include:
