Assistant Professor, The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience - DePauw University
The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience at DePauw University invites applications for a tenure-track position in neuroscience, broadly defined, at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2025. A doctoral degree in any area of neuroscience, psychology. or appropriate allied area completed by August 2025 is preferred, while ABD will be considered at the rank of Instructor. The search is open to candidates in any area of neuroscience who are committed to teaching at an undergraduate liberal arts and sciences university and to establishing a program of research that actively engages undergraduate students. Teaching load is 6 courses per year (3/3 plus a 0.5 credit extended studies course once every three years), and will include Neuroscience and Behavior and/or Cognitive Neuroscience, introductory and upper level courses in neuroscience or psychology including Research Methods. Funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
