Assistant Professor in Psychology (Developmental Neuroscience) at Florida State University

The Department of Psychology at Florida State University invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Psychology. We are seeking candidates who take a developmental lens in their research and use human neuroscience methods. The start date of the position is August 2023. The Psychology Department is very active in research, with Ph.D. programs in clinical, cognitive, developmental, neuroscience, and social. The successful candidate will be a multidisciplinary researcher affiliated with the developmental and neuroscience areas as well as other areas in the department if appropriate. Candidates with a doctoral degree in any area of psychology or neuroscience will be considered, including, but not limited to, developmental, educational, social, clinical, school, cognitive, or affective. Special consideration will be given to those who use fMRI, fNIRS, and/or EEG methods. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in neuroscience. Candidates must have a strong publication record, high potential for external grant funding, and a commitment to excellent teaching with a diverse student population.
